Cherry Red Shaded orange

If you could have it your way,

would you make it nighttime or day?

You keep your lips red,

you keep your words unsaid,

pretty golden light,

moody shaded light.

A salty Southern wind blows

a patterned fabric shadow grows,

Oaky nutty chardonnay flows,

Creme brulee flavour on the nose.

Caramel, honey, butterscotch, aroma stash

Nudging for a wave splash,

golden filtered beach days with a view.

Summertime madness,

sunset goodness

dipping golden moments into orange,

filtered and framed with coloured cherry lips.

Press pause. It is winter 2021 lockdown in South Africa. Work is slow but growing. Working online was a good move. I look back at photography memories and find inspiration in the winter light.
